Haskell Indian Nations University desires to construct a state-of-the-art greenhouse complex to enhance science educational opportunities and provide additional facilities for administrative and greenhouse operational requirements. This project, funded through Title III, aims to enrich student learning in greenhouse sciences by providing modern educational spaces, hand-on learning facilities, and operational support areas. The complex will include a main greenhouse, a high tunnel, and a learning center with teaching spaces, workroom, and administrative areas. The facility will integrate sustainable energy solutions, smart environmental controls, and ADA-accessible infrastructure. Sustainability measures include lighting and rainwater harvesting, IoT-based climate monitoring, and energy-efficient HVAC systems.
