New Church and Master Planning, Casa de Dios Para Las Naciones
Kansas City, KS
Pluribus performed several master-planing studies for Casa De Dios Para Las Naciones regarding different sites for a large new church in Kansas City, KS. An existing former grocery store was studied in two phases, with the second phase being a new sanctuary addition. Ultimately, the site that held the most promise was on a virgin site west of downtown Kansas City, KS.
Casa de Dios Para Las Naciones New Church is designed as a contemporary worship and community facility that supports both spiritual gathering and everyday engagement. The 46,492 SF building combines a large sanctuary and supporting backstage functions with flexible spaces for education, fellowship, administration, and community events.
The program is organized around a welcoming arrival experience with a vestibule, reception, registration, and an open lobby that connects visitors to the main sanctuary, multi-purpose auditorium, classrooms, bookstore, and additional gathering spaces. Community focused amenities including an open cafeteria, food court, kitchen, gallery, and multi-use rooms allow the facility to remain active beyond worship services.
Administrative offices, media spaces, storage, and building support functions are integrated to promote efficient daily operations, while dedicated spaces such as the prayer garden, private prayer room, maternity room, and terrace provide opportunities for reflection, family support, and informal gathering. This project establishes a flexible and welcoming environment centered on worship, connection, and community growth.
